Multimedia Bonus Disc version 1.0 is finally here. (Buy it here)

Much hard work has been put into this release and it features nearly all of the best multimedia applications for Linux. I have been agonizing over this final version, trying to make sure everything is perfect. While I'm sure I have not completely succeeded, I have done my best and hope you all enjoy the results.

In addition to the free download, you can also purchase a hard copy of the Multimedia Bonus Disc with a large printed manual complete with screenshots, tutorials, and information to help you sort out the massive amount of software on the disc. To answer a question I have had several times about this project, I'll just address it here. The Multimedia Bonus Disc is NOT a full Linux distribution or a spinoff of Vector. Instead, it is a collection of packages that can be installed onto a previously installed version of VL. There is no need to repartition to install it or anything like that. The only requirement is that you have VL 5.9 installed. For more information on installation, view the quickstart guide: http://www.vectorlinuxsolutions.com/install.pdf
